I’m a PhD Candidate at Simon Fraser University focusing on ways to preserve geospatial privacy in academic research. I’m exploring both quantitative techniques and geovisualization methods to protect privacy and preserve data integrity in published maps. My Master’s thesis investigated the implications of new biometric systems for spatial surveillance, and surveys tactics and strategies for resisting surveillance.
